Performance timeseries is available on the iOS and Android SDKs.

Standard mobile vitals report memory utilization averaged over the lifetime of the view. Performance timeseries captures memory and CPU usage every second for the length of the session, and displays the results on an interactive graph in the session, view, and operation [side panels][3].

After collection is enabled, timeseries are captured for all sessions.

Two series are collected:

- **CPU usage**: the percentage of the device's total CPU capacity across all cores consumed by your application. This differs from the CPU ticks per second reported for a view.
- **Memory**: the same value the SDK already collects for view memory vitals. See [view memory collection on iOS][4] and [on Android][5].

For sessions from the iOS and Android SDKs, the {{< ui >}}Performance Timeseries{{< /ui >}} section displays a {{< ui >}}Memory & CPU{{< /ui >}} graph of your application's resource usage, captured every second across the session. It is available on the session, view, and operation side panels.

The graph covers the full session. When you open it from a view or an operation, markers show where that view or operation starts and ends, so you can read its resource usage against everything that ran around it. Periods when the application was in the background are shaded.

For what each series measures, see [Mobile Vitals][7].
