Description

Update the Aave v3 USDT (aUSDT) token icon on Ethereum mainnet to the latest image and fix the rendering defect reported in #1982, where the icon appeared clipped at the top and bottom in MetaMask.

What was wrong

• The previous SVG (added in feat: STAKE-1054 add missing atokens to contract metadata repo #1513) was an editor export with an inconsistent root (width="250" height="250" combined with viewBox="0 0 256 256"), junk style/id attributes, duplicated <defs>, and a nested <svg> element — all of which are forbidden by the repo's STYLEGUIDE.md.
• The CDN raster currently served for this asset is non-square (250 × 227), which is what causes the visible clipping in the app: https://static.cx.metamask.io/api/v2/tokenIcons/assets/eip155/1/erc20/0x23878914efe38d27c4d67ab83ed1b93a74d4086a.png (other aToken icons in the repo, e.g. aWETH/aWBTC, rasterize as proper 250 × 250 squares).

The new icon

• Single clean root: <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" width="250" height="250" viewBox="0 0 250 250"> — pure vector paths/shapes only, no nested SVG, no junk attributes, single gradient definition.
• Keeps the Aave aToken design used by every other aToken icon in the repo: white circular base + Aave gradient ring (#b6509e → #2ebac6).
• Uses Aave's latest USDT artwork: green #26A17B coin with the current Tether "T" logo (previous file used an outdated USDT mark).

Notes

• Fixes aUSDT (Aave v3 USDT, mainnet) icon renders clipped — non-square SVG root #1982

Overview
Replaces the Aave v3 USDT (aUSDT) Ethereum mainnet token SVG with a clean, square asset that fixes MetaMask clipping reported in #1982.

The old file was an editor export with mismatched 250×250 vs 256×256 viewBox, inline positioning styles, duplicate gradients, and a nested <svg> (against the repo style guide), which led to non-square CDN rasters and top/bottom clipping. The new icon uses a single root 250×250 viewBox, one Aave gradient ring on a white base, and updated Tether USDT artwork (#26A17B coin) aligned with other aToken icons and Aave’s current branding—metadata and token address are unchanged.
