Phase 4 for Forge 1.14.4
Prepare
0.4.0.114041for release following hands-on testing. This adds wooden and canopy beds, wingback chairs and thrones, removable chair
shields, candles, twin-torch and rock-salt sconces, and gold/Base Metals frames.
Furniture is organised into Chairs, Benches, Beds and Lights.
The crafting and recipe-book changes keep wood and upholstery colours matched,
discover upgrades while the crafting table is open, and leave manual bed
recolouring out of the recipe book. Sconces keep their metal and contents when
mined by hand or when their support breaks, including waterlogged states.
Lava lamps retain their intentional Silk Touch and shattering behaviour.
Existing worlds
The upgrade bridge preserves supported furniture, colours, metals, facing,
connected states and stored shield data from 1.10.2, 1.12.2 and older 1.14.4
worlds. It covers stored, nested and dropped items as well as placed blocks.
Converted fixtures are checked again after saving and reloading.
CFM's six supported wooden chairs have conditional conversion recipes and
default-off forced conversion. Recovery also handles those chairs when CFM has
been removed. The README and upgrade guide explain unsupported woods,
containers and other old-modpack limitations; backups remain essential.
Verification
metadata, namespaces, repository hygiene, workflow pins and release artifacts.
including the published Base Metals and OreSpawn jars.
stored shields, CFM chair recovery and repeated-load checks.
including hands, tool/enchantment combinations, water and all saved metals.
Build scripts are split by responsibility. No agent notes, personal worlds,
verification logs, runtime caches or machine-specific IDE files are included.
