Can't connect to FLAME-T Spectrometer On Raspberry Pi #301
I can't seem to connect to a FLAME-T spectrometer using raspberry pi. For reference, I am stripping down to the most basic diagnostic scripts in order to be sure that the spectrometer can connect, so no fancy SW stuff is happening.
System details:
Raspberry Pi Trixie OS (most recent)
Raspberry Pi 5
FLAME-T Spectrometer
Pyseabreeze backend explicitly defined
Troubleshooting tried thus far:
Confirmed permissions are enabled for my user
Confirmed the spectrometer can be correctly directly accessed by pyUSB
Ran OS setup as dictated by documentation
Confirmed udev rules
Tried manual access based on product and vendor IDs (from_serial_number, etc.)
Confirmed sufficient power supply to the spectrometer via USB
Changed pyusb reference library to various versions per another thread on this
When I use list_devices() it returns an empty list []. I have tried I think basically everything (?) but I am not a software developer at all, so it's entirely possible I just don't have the required background. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi @mlinedr18
could you check if running your python interpreter as root makes the device show up?
