Closing — Hibernate 7.x is not supported on the 7.x line: all three Build and Test jobs fail on SecurityMemberAccessTest.classInclusion_hibernateProxy_allowProxyObjectAccess (IllegalArgumentException: object is not an instance of declaring class), which is the Hibernate 7 proxy API change hitting ProxyUtil / StrutsProxyService. hibernate-core is an optional compile dependency of struts2-core, so this is a Struts 8.0.0 topic, not a bump.
