release: prepare base-bash-libs 2.2.2 #573

Goal

Prepare base-bash-libs v2.2.2 after the post-v2.2.1 documentation and first-party consumer reference cleanup.

Included scope

• docs: link the reference consumer as a learning path from the docs index and quickstart #568: make base-bash-libs-demo v0.1.2 discoverable from the documentation index and v2 quickstart, with pinned links and contract coverage.
• docs: align the README lead and repository description with the v2 CLI/application framework #569: align the README lead, runnable v2 framework example, layered library map, repository description, and topics with the CLI/application framework.
• Refresh the first-party consumer validation ledger to reference the released demo v0.1.2 and the current Base Bash release.

Release contract

• Version: 2.2.2
• Four canonical assets: archive, SHA256SUMS, SPDX SBOM, and provenance.
• Validate the clean merged main commit on Ubuntu, minimum Bash, and macOS.
• Preserve the v2.2.x public API and the existing release/BOM policy.
• Complete the Base and Homebrew handoff references after publication.
