Use new IFileStore.exists() and isDirectory() methods

Use the new methods introduced in

• Add exists() and isDirectory() methods to IFileStore eclipse.platform#2951

It simplifies the code and allows to automatically benefit from their subsequent optimizations (at least for Windows).
