Need guidance/sample on running a GH workflow #914
I need some guidance on how to run the C/C++ codeql checks from this library on my PRs involving C/C++ code. I want to use pre-compiled packs otherwise it takes many hours to run. Is there an example available or can one be provided? Thanks!
hello! thanks for the question, so sorry for responding so late but -
this portion of the documentation talks about the difference packs that we publish from this repo (packs contain the compiled queries)
an example of a page for one of the packages published can be found here and going to the general packages page and searching for "coding-standards" will find the rest!
to use these custom packs in PRs/scans on repos one must be using advanced setup for Code Scanning and then use a workflow that adds the custom packs to that scan, documentation on how to do that can be found here
thanks again for the question! let us know if there is anything else we can help with

With these documents I will assume this is solved, however please re-open if there are any remaining questions
