The blog stops repeating pre-release status labels. This is an editorial decision for the blog; the docs are unchanged.

Label Before Now
Prisma Composer "in Early Access" (6 posts) not mentioned
Prisma ORM 8 "a release candidate, GA expected October 2026" (~30 posts) "Prisma ORM 8, the version npm installs by default" (npm's latest for prisma is 8.0.0-rc.19). Never "GA", "stable" or a release date. The lists of ORM 7 features it doesn't have yet stay.
prisma/cloud-deploy-action "marked experimental" not mentioned. Nothing calls it stable.
Prisma Compute "in public beta" (present tense, 6 posts) not mentioned, or "generally available since August 2026" (#8195). The June launch post gets an update note.

Left as history: dated launch and roadmap posts, and posts whose subject is ORM 8's status, such as "Is Prisma 8 ready for long-lived production apps?", the Prisma 8 Early Access launch and the roadmap posts. Mentions of other products' betas or GA dates, such as Neon, Vercel and older ORM versions, are also unchanged. MongoDB support in ORM 8 is still described as "early access", because that's the feature's own status.

Review: the ORM 8 and action changes went through a classify, edit and review pass, and five reviewer findings were fixed. The docs-reader-review prose checkers are clean on changed lines, except one term that was already on a line in the job-queue post.

Worth doing outside the blog: ask the Compute team to remove "Status: experimental" from the action's README and fix or drop the broken mode: destroy. Models read that repo.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Updated Prisma ORM guidance across blog articles: Prisma ORM 8 is the default npm installation, while Prisma ORM 7 remains supported.
    • Revised recommendations and compatibility notes to describe ORM 8 feature gaps and link to ORM 7 documentation.
    • Updated Prisma Compute and Composer availability information, deployment guidance, and preview workflow descriptions.
    • Clarified caching behavior, including which connection types support caching, and updated Prisma Studio setup instructions.
    • Refreshed documented CLI and package versions across installation, deployment, framework, and upgrade guides.

Six posts called Prisma Composer "Early Access" in their prose, tables
and verdicts. Remove that wording from the blog and leave the rest of
each sentence as it was. The Prisma ORM 8 release-candidate notes and
the deploy action's "experimental" label stay, since those come from
the ORM's release status and the action's own repository. The docs are
unchanged.

…d Compute

Editorial decision for the blog:
- Prisma ORM 8 is described as "the version npm installs by default"
instead of a release candidate. No post calls it GA or stable, and
the lists of ORM 7 features it does not have yet stay.
- The prisma/cloud-deploy-action "experimental" label is no longer
repeated, and nothing calls it stable.
- Prisma Compute is no longer described as in public beta in the
present tense; it has been generally available since August 2026.
The public beta launch post gets an update note.

Dated announcements and posts about ORM 8's readiness are unchanged.
