Summary

  • Deliver Phase 1 of the marketing redesign: shared spacing and typography, light/dark themes, painted hero and closing CTA, updated product sections, metrics, and customer carousel.
  • Add Platform and Resources menu previews, a customer-story index and detail layout, and consistent chrome across the marketing pages.
  • Showcase the Sim CLI with Claude Code using documented login, workflow discovery, and manual-run commands. Replace the unsupported agent SDK example; link the CLI card to its docs and show valid Function-block JavaScript on the Workflows page.
  • Fix mobile/tablet layouts, menu hover and keyboard navigation, scroll positioning, reduced-motion behavior, and theme transitions across authentication. Keep the interactive hero on the current workflow renderer.
  • Customer-story copy remains draft/noindex for editorial review. Phase 2 design work is out of scope; this PR is ready for an initial team review.

Type of Change

  • New feature
  • Bug fix

Testing

  • Browser review across 320, 390, 768, and 1280px: home, platform/product pages, solutions, and customer stories; representative content/catalog routes also checked. Verified mobile menus, keyboard entry/Escape, breakpoint scroll unlock, navigation scroll reset, hero resource/collapse controls, tablet article wrapping, themes, and reduced motion.
  • Full app suite: 42,088 tests passed across 3,056 files. The initial review also passed 133 focused marketing/auth tests across 35 files. The CLI update passed all 129 marketing tests across 33 files, app type-check, lint, and the 45 repository audits; its graphics fit desktop/mobile in both themes.
  • Shared UI and workflow renderer suites: 330 tests passed. All 26 workspace type checks and lint tasks passed; all 45 repository audits passed, including API boundary validation. Generated artifacts are in sync; no dependency, database, or migration changes.
  • An unchanged desktop session timing test failed under the parallel monorepo run, then its entire file passed in isolation (168 tests). No desktop code changed. GitHub CI subsequently passed lint/tests, both app test shards, and the production app build on the initial Phase 1 commit. CI is rerunning for the CLI follow-up.

Review focus

  • /: hero interaction, customer carousel, metrics, product graphics, and footer.
  • Platform/Resources menus: preview consistency, pointer travel, keyboard access, and mobile navigation.
  • /customers and its story detail pages: inset images, balanced regular-weight headings, responsive article layout, and draft publication behavior.
  • Shared component changes are additive preview controls plus a reduced-motion hydration fix; product defaults are preserved.

Checklist

  • Code follows project style guidelines
  • Self-reviewed my changes
  • Tests added/updated for the affected behavior
  • Generated artifacts and repository audits are clean
  • Production app build, lint/tests, and both app test shards complete for the CLI follow-up (initial Phase 1 CI passed)
  • I confirm that I have read and agree to the terms outlined in the Contributor License Agreement (CLA)
