MCP server

Built on the official modelcontextprotocol/go-sdk, serving five tools (compare_material3_versions, inspect_component_api, check_deprecation_status, suggest_migration_patch, list_supported_platforms) and versioned resources over stdio or Streamable HTTP.

Signature data is fetched live from AOSP gitiles (platform/frameworks/support): pre-releases from api/{version}.txt on androidx-main, the latest stable from the module's release branch. Google Maven provides the version list. Responses are cached (in-memory LRU + on-disk).

CI

Every push runs .github/workflows/ci.yml: Go build + vet + tests + cross-compiled binaries (uploaded as artifacts), Kotlin generator + AST checker on generated output, Python script tests, and an end-to-end MCP smoke test that diffs the oldest vs newest archived material3 signatures.
