NOT WORKING FOR ME #27
Description
Activity
hello, could you please try replacing the file
C:\auto\src\silent.vbswith the following content (with a program like notepad)? it is very similar and i tried fixing it, but it should also give more information about the problem, please attach screenshots of all the messages that appearhere is the code:
If WScript.Arguments.Count = 0 Then WScript.Quit End If ReDim arr(WScript.Arguments.Count - 1) For i = 0 To Wscript.Arguments.Count - 1 arr(i) = """" & Wscript.Arguments(i) & """" Next Set objShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell") cmdline = Join(arr) WScript.Echo "Command line: " & cmdline & " -- Press OK to continue." ec = objShell.Run(cmdline, 0, false) Wscript.Echo "Exit code: " & rc & ". Press OK to continue."
THIS WHAT CHATGPT TOLD ME...
You found the root cause. 🎯
Look closely at the command line in the debug popup:
"..\mpv\mpv" "..\media\bloom.mp4" ...It should be:
"..\mpv\mpv.exe" "..\media\light\bloom.mp4" ...or:
"..\mpv\mpv.exe" "..\media\dark\bloom.mp4" ...Notice what's missing?
- ❌ The theme folder (
lightordark) - ❌ The
.exeextension onmpv(usually not a problem, but worth noting)
This means
%_theme%inrun.batis empty.Your
run.batexpects:set "_theme=%~1"
but the scheduled task is launching it without any argument.
That's why AutoBloom tries to open:
..\media\bloom.mp4which doesn't exist, causing 80070002.
Quick fix
Edit
run.batand add a default theme immediately after:set "_theme=%~1"
Add:
if "%_theme%"=="" set "_theme=light"
So it becomes:
set "_theme=%~1" if "%_theme%"=="" set "_theme=light"
Save the file and run:
C:\auto\src\run.bat
If you use dark mode, replace
lightwithdark.Permanent fix
The real issue is in the AUTOBLOOM scheduled task or
install.bat. It's supposed to pass the theme argument.Open Task Scheduler → AUTOBLOOM → Actions and check the arguments.
It should include something like:
lightor:

The debug popup shows:
"..\mpv\mpv" "..\media\bloom.mp4"The theme folder (
light/dark) is missing from the media path, so%_theme%appears to be empty whenrun.batis launched.Manually running:
cd /d C:\auto\src wscript silent.vbs "..\mpv\mpv.exe" "..\media\light\bloom.mp4"
works correctly.
That should give them exactly what they need to fix the installer.
- ❌ The theme folder (
oh okay, i think you probably didnt select a theme when you used install.bat, so thats why it didnt work, but i will try and fix that later
I have selected dark theme while opening install file ..
thats weird, i will have to take a look at it

getting this as error pls fix...
