Description
The current AI Governance license assignment documentation creates a contradiction around Docker SSO requirements.
The documentation currently states that AI Governance licenses include SSO and provisioning features regardless of the organization's Docker Core subscription. However, Docker's SSO documentation states that SSO requires a Docker Business subscription.
This can cause confusion for customers because AI Governance licenses can be assigned independently of Docker Core seats, but SSO is still a Docker Business feature.
This issue updates the license assignment documentation to clearly distinguish between AI Governance licensing and Docker Business SSO requirements. The documentation will clarify that AI Governance licenses can be assigned independently of a Docker Core subscription, while SSO must be configured through a Docker Business subscription before using SSO-based provisioning for automatic license assignment.
The goal is to make the documentation consistent with Docker's subscription and authentication requirements and prevent customers from assuming that purchasing AI Governance alone provides SSO access.
