Summary
Provide a development Docker target for Compose to restart against mounted REST API source while keeping production dependencies separate.
Documents startup-only JSON configuration, authentication configuration, and restart requirements. Updates the environment template with metadata, Compose service names, validation-bypass settings, and scheduler guidance. Compose owns source watching and restarts in deployment PR #6.
Evidence
After: The
devtarget includes development dependencies and starts the normal server entrypoint; the final PR adds no nodemon dependency or source-volume seeding.Merge Danger
Door: two-way
Revert the Dockerfile and configuration documentation/template changes. Merge before deployment PR #6.
Blast Radius: API
Affects development image contents and deployment configuration guidance. JSON configuration is read at startup; restart after changing it. Use the production target for runtime-only dependencies.
